Interesting bird sightings from our regular water birds monitoring on the Drava river – 17th decade:

Lake Ormož:

• Common Pochard (Aythya ferina) – 3 ind.
• Yellow-legged Gull (Larus michahelis) – 224 ind.

Lake Ptuj:

• Red-necked Grebe (Podiceps grisegena) – 1 ind.
• Black Kite (Milvus migrans) – 1 ind.
• Whiskered Tern (Chlidonias hybrida) – 10 ind.
