On Wensday, 14th and Thursday 15th of August 2013 our regular monitoring of larger important waterbodies at river Drava was carried out. There were sightings of first migratory birds, especialy some migratory waders.

- Purple Heron (Ardea purpurea) – 1 young individual
Lake Ormož:
- Gadwall (Anas strepera) – 2 individuals
- Mute Swan (Cygnus olor) – 183 individuals
Lake Ptuj:
- Black-necked Grabe (Podiceps nigricollis) – 10 individuals
- Shoveler (Anas clypeata) – 4 individuals
- Goldeneye (Bucephala clangula) – 2 individuals
- Greenshank (Tringa nebularia) – 4 individuals
